What Is a Subprocessor

A subprocessor is a third-party service provider that processes customer personal data on Axon's behalf in order to deliver the platform.

Current Subprocessors

Google Firebase / Google Cloud: authentication, database, storage, push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging), platform infrastructure support, and consent-based product analytics on the website and browser app. Product analytics is disabled in the native apps.

Google reCAPTCHA: abuse and bot protection on public web forms (contact, support, password reset, and privacy requests) and browser App Check attestation. For native App Check attestation, iOS uses Apple App Attest or DeviceCheck and Android uses Google Play Integrity.

Vercel: application hosting, serverless execution, and content delivery for the web app (primary compute region: Frankfurt, EU).

Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing.

Resend: transactional, notification, and inbound support email processing where configured.

Apple and Google (app stores and push services): distribution of the Axon mobile apps and delivery of push notifications to enrolled devices.

Purpose and Safeguards

Subprocessors are used only for service-delivery purposes and are contractually required to protect data according to applicable legal standards.

Native-app data is not linked with data from other companies for advertising or ad measurement and is not shared with data brokers.

We apply vendor due diligence and security/privacy controls before enabling new subprocessors.

Subprocessor Updates

This list may be updated as our service evolves. We update the effective date above when material changes are made.

Customer organizations with contractual notification requirements can request update workflows through legal/compliance contact.
