How to exercise privacy rights under EU and U.S. laws

Rights Overview

Depending on your location and role, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data and to object to or restrict certain processing.

U.S. state privacy laws may grant additional rights, including opt-out rights for specific data uses where applicable.

Request Types

You can request data access, correction, deletion, portability, and consent withdrawal where applicable.

You can also request information about categories of data processed and categories of third parties involved in processing.

How To Submit a Request

If you already have an Axon account, the fastest route is account settings: you can export your data and request account deletion there yourself, and change analytics and marketing consent at any time.

Otherwise, use the request form on this page or email us at the address listed at the bottom of this page with the subject line 'Privacy Request'. Include your organization, account email, request type, and relevant context.

If you are an end user within a customer organization, we may direct your request to your organization admin where that organization acts as data controller.

Identity Verification

We verify requestor identity before processing requests that involve personal data disclosure, export, or deletion.

If we cannot reasonably verify identity, we may deny or limit the request as required by law.

Response Times

We aim to respond within legally required timelines. Complex requests may require extensions where permitted by law.

If we deny a request, we provide a reason and, where required, instructions for appeal.

The request itself is a record: submissions made through this page, and any messages exchanged about them, are retained for two years and then deleted automatically.

Authorized Agent Requests

Where allowed by law, authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of users if they provide proof of authorization and identity verification documents.

Non-Discrimination

We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising applicable privacy rights.
